BUCKTOOL SSA16LVF 16 in. Variable Speed Scroll Saw with Steel Work Table
Default Title
Found it easy to set up and was nice and clean on cuts the size of table also is a plus
I create wood jewelry and work with small pieces of wood that get hung up in the blade hole. Easy fix for me, just cut a smaller hole in acrylic and taped it down to the work space.
The real issue I have though is getting the tension lever flipped back down. I’m waiting for customer service to answer that question for me.
And one final thing - the access to the bottom of the blade is not easy. Next redesign they should reconsider that part of redesign.
My suggestion would be to make a port like they do for sewing machines. Get a woman in your engineering staff ! ☺️
Haven't used it a bunch yet but when I have it works very well love the foot pedal
Have used the scroll saw quite a bit now, wanted to update my first review. Much better performance than I ever imagined. The nameplates in the attached photo are made from quarter sawn sycamore and I used a #5 Pegas Modified Geometry blade exclusively. Have made 12 nameplates so far and have not broken a blade yet. Zero blade slippage as well. Thanks again, Bucktool!
Solid, quiet and well packaged for shipment. Seems a really good purchase, especially at the price. Thank you BuckTool.

Harbor Freight only sells 4 parts for their Bauer 22” scroll saw, and this isn’t one of them. I knew I’d be able to get parts from somewhere. Didn’t try Jet figured, they’d be pricey. Could’ve gotten from Rikon, but also more money. The prices were so good from here that I ordered a second pipe and 2 bellows just to have on had if/when I need for no additional shipping. Super speedy response to my inquiry and immediate shipment with tracking info. Couldn’t be happier with the parts and the entire experience. Thanks!
I do some wood working love it very quiet motor easy to sand small pieces on happy with the tool will buy some other buck tools
Works really well for a number of metal parts that had to be fitted to 50+ year old farm machinery restoration projects that would have taken forever with a file.
Bucktool Bench Belt Grinder Combo, 1x30 inch Belt & 6 inch Grinder, 1/3 HP Low Speed Bench Belt Disc Sander Combo for Knife Making, Sharpening, Woodworking, Metalworking
It's a good grinder for the price. Sometimes it's a little underpowered and has trouble getting the belts going
I just started using the grinder and got the Wolverine- One-way sharpening jig set up. Looks good, works well, I like the extra features- brackets, magnifier, light. A great upgrade to my sharpening- especially lathe tools- gouges, etc!
Love it, adjustable speed is awesome, laser is accurate right out of the box without any adjustments. Light is nice and bright.
Before I order this belt and disc sander, I checked out, benchtop sanders at Harbor freight and Menards. The quality was just really cheap. This Buck tool is much better quality. It’s a good tool. Great value.
Ordering was easy it shipped fast and arrived with no issues. Well protected.
Since I have a 2 1/2 inch flexible hose for my dust collection, I designed and 3D printed an adapter to mate the dust collection hose to the Y fitting cap. With that done, it collects the dust very well.
So far, the drill press has met every one of my expectations! The variable speed control is excellent. The Lazer cross hair is surprisingly accurate to get you lined up on your work. Despite not having the conventional press stop that other brands include, the Bucktool design suits my needs better. The graduated scale and stop, integrated with the press handle is far more convenient. Only time will tell how durable the tool is, but already it's been solid in clearanceing some cylinder heads to accommodate larger pushrods and a shaft mount rocker system.
