A nice little sanding machine

Assembling the machine was fairly simple with all the tools provided except a Phillips screwdriver. Basically all I had to do was install the two tables and the handle for the tensioner pulley.

The machine has plenty of power. The motor seemed to get a little warm with continuous use, more than 15 minutes. I guess it will take some time to determine if this will be a problem.

There is a bit of noise from the belt side of the machine, but I don't know if it is the pulleys, the sanding belt or if it is just normal noise from a 1" belt sander. I suspect it is due to the joint in the belt as it crosses each pulley.

Bottom line, would I purchase this machine again? Yes, but I might also consider one with a 2" wide belt.
