Runs smooth works well

This is a great sander. The dual speed motor makes sanding projects easy. Very well made and worth the money.

I like both sanders I bought from buck tool. Unfortunately they forget about you when something breaks and needs to be fixed. I have used their contact us direct email three times requesting parts for my 4”x36” belt sander. It fell off my table and broke the plastic the dust collector. My fault. Wasn’t asking for warranty coverage. Nothing. No email no phone call. So I just bought a grizzly band saw and a grizzly 4”x36” belt sander to replace the Buck. I wouldn’t have bought the 1”x42” from buck if I would have known what their customer service was like. Oh well,,, I’ll use it till it breaks

I have been forging knives for 25 years and the things i like about this sander is the dual speed and the lack of a drive belt.It runs very quiet and has enough power to grind a blade without bogging down and it actually runs quieter than my large sander.It's a very good sander and worth the money.
