“I've been looking for a medium sized benchtop sander combo with a disc and thin belt. I read through all the reviews of the normal candidates but didn't see anything that stood out. This unit by BuckTool has surprised me. Majority of the construction is all steel and thick-walled cast aluminum. The platform for the disc side is cast aluminum and the belt side is cast steel. Both feel robust and both are pretty flat. They come detached, but are easy to set up. The entire unit is heavy but easy to move around as everything is metal, so picking it up isn't a balancing affair of breaking plastic covers. ”
