Part Four

Most of the supplies you'll need to complete the projects in this are ones you probably already have lying around in your workshop or home, like painter's tape and sandpaper. You might need to run to your local craft store to find a few of them, like spray adhesive and contact paper. Make sure you have the following essential items before beginning a project, as well as any of the optional items you may need in order to finish a project in a particular way(more on finishing on here).
- Wood of choice
- Contact paper (such as removable Con-Tact Brand Creative Covering-TM or similar) (for applying patterns to wood)
- Spray adhesive or all-purpose glue stick (for applying paper patterns to contact paper)
- Blue painter's tape or Frog tape (for taping edge’perimeter of wood if stack cutting)
- 180-to 220-grit sandpaper
- Danish oil or mineral oil (optional but recommended)
- wood sealer (optionall) (when not using Danish or mineral oil)
- Craft paints (optional)
- Clear lacquer (spray or brush-on), heat and exterior grade (optionall)
- Paper towels

Use contact paper to apply paper patterns to wood so that they are secure while scrolling but a cinch to remove with no residue.

Stack cutting is a great way to cut multiples of items like coasters at once, use painter's tape to easily and temporarly attach the pieces of wood before cutting.

lf you want to go for a stylized, vivid-even festive-effect, acrylic paints are a cheap and easy way to jazz up a finished piece.
